About this blog

2021 NOTE: I have been posting identical articles here and in my blogspot blog. Because Tumblr is now no more, I have been using Imgur for the photos. I figured there is greater reach if I posted on both WordPress and Blogspot and reach is important if my goal is to normalise decent nudity.

2019 NOTE: This is my older blog. It contains entries from before late 2018. However, because WordPress does not allow much space for photos, most of my photos in the past were posted on Tumblr and there are many posts in this blog that are tied to Tumblr. But since Tumblr embraced prudery late last year, most of my Tumblr photos and posts were disabled by Tumblr and they don’t’appear on this blog. Ultimately, Google is the most tolerant and my new blog is on blogger. Besides, this makes it easier for me to upload photos from Google Photos. But I do still update this blog by linking some articles to my new blog. My new blog can be accessed here:

https://mynaturistphotodiary.blogspot.com/

This blog is all about my life as a naturist. It’s no different from my personal diary to record my travels to naturist places and it contains photos of decent nudity. If you think the human body is obscene or inappropriate in any way, go away. See a therapist or a shrink.

Because this is my personal diary, all the photos here will naturally be of me. Where there are others in the photos, you can be sure that I have obtained their consent. Many of the naturist activities I participate in have rules that encourage photography and the posting of these photos. I don’t take part in closet nudist activities because I believe closet nudism is inimical to the naturist cause. If you are a naturist, you accept that nudity is natural and decent and ‘closet naturism’ is self-contradictory and oxymoronic.

If you are a naturist, I welcome you to my blog. If you are not a naturist but you are tolerant of naturism, and you can understand why some of us value and respect the human body and do not relegate it to the level of obscenity or indecency even if you don’t share our view, I welcome you too. But if you find the body of the human species repugnant and abhorrent and if the sight of the human body distresses or offends you and you do not wish to see a psychiatrist or consider carefully why you are so afflicted, this blog is obviously not suitable for you; please go elsewhere. This is my personal diary.

Everything you see in this blog is perfectly legal. The photos are taken in places where it is legal to be naked. The blog posts and photos are posted in countries where the posting of such nude photos is not illegal. Earlier blog posts that did not conform to this rule have been removed from this blog.

If you wish to contact me by email, you may write to naturistrebel@gmail.com. Of course it would be far better if you post a comment on this blog.

25 July 2022 – There’s no smoke without disaster

There is a great deal of climbing in this stretch of hiking as you can see in this photo I took. I am way ahead here but observe the route the rest has to take just to reach where I am standing.

But when you get to the top, the view is the view is spectacular.

But soon, something caught our attention. You can smell it in the air and you can see it in the sky. It’s one of the worst natural disasters. A forest fire. Just look at the billow of dark smoke behind me.

The fire brigade at the scene. But there was little they could do. We later discovered that the fire covered a lot of area and extended into a small part of Czechia.

After having taken the above photo, I noticed something strange. My feet didn’t seem like they were a part of me. This photo explains it best. A lot is to be said in favour of barefoot hiking. All parts of the body should be exposed equally to the sun. Shielding the feet with socks and shoes only serves to make them look like they don’t belong to the rest of my body when the rest of the body has been baked in the sun.

24 July 2022 – nude hiking. Rocky mountains galore.

The scenery is spectacular but it’s better seen when one is there than through photos which don’t do justice to it. Here’s a pic of me pretending to fall over the cliff.

But I’m really very sure-footed and careful. As you can see in this pic, I am reasonably adept at climbing rocks. And I can do it with one hand clinging on to my GoPro selfie stick.

There are many spectacular views. But like I’ve said, the photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the place.

You may think I have run out of things to talk about, seeing that this blog post is brief. But the next day (25 July) is a sad day because something happened which I will talk about in my next blog post.

23 July 2022 nude hiking: A TALE OF TWO COUNTRIES

I’m sick and tired of the uniform title of my blog posts. They seem so mechanical. The artist in me is repulsed. Hence my current title. Haha. Just kidding. I haven’t got the smallest trace of artistry in my veins. Anyway, the hiking goes on.

We hike through lush fields.

And yes, another tower. It’s shorter than the one we went to yesterday though. Here’s a view from the top.

If you are wondering what I mean by the title, wonder no more. Here is a photo I really treasure. It offers indisputable evidence that I am stepping on two countries at one go. The border runs right at the centre between my legs.

Here’s proof that the earth is spherical. This is also a good therapeutic exercise if you feel the cares of the world weigh down heavily on you. The world is huge and nothing really matters. The only way you can live life without any care is to shrug off all responsibilities. Haha

I am told there are elves in this forest. Here’s one:

Waiting for my dinner. It’s funny how we go through different phases of life. In the first phase we drink milk unabashedly. In the second phase, we are ashamed to be seen drinking milk and we force ourselves to drink bitter drinks such as alcohol and coffee in the foolish belief that such drinks are what every “adult” drinks. Finally we enter the phase when we have kids of our own and we don’t give a toss what others think and simply drink what we like and of course, milk tastes much better than coffee or alcohol. If you look carefully there is an elf next to me.

2022 DAILY ACCOUNT – PART 4: 22 July

This hike which we did on 22 July 2022 was most interesting in that we combined a workout with culture and religion. Nothing is more invigorating than a day in which the body, mind and soul are all profitably enriched.

We first started with a lovely hike to a tall tower. I recorded a selfie video as I went up the entire height of the tower and down again but I’m not going to post it here. It’s too long and too boring. My wife suggested that I should post fewer photos at the risk of being called ‘narcissistic’ but how can I have a photo diary that does not have my own photos? Most naturist bloggers I know post OTHER PEOPLE’s photos usually taken from the back. But this is my photo diary and you don’t post other people’s photos in your own photo diary, do you?

Here is a selfie I took at the top of the tower.

We soon leave the tower and walk on all kinds of terrain.

Long dusty trails:

Brown parched grass with cattle grazing in the distance:

Green grass through enchanting woods:

Wooden bridges over rivers and streams:

Sometimes straying across the border into another country:

When we feel we can’t go on any more, nature refreshes us with wild berries

We end our hiking early because there is a treat waiting for us. One of us who is a church organist is entertaining us with beautiful organ music. So here we are, on our way to church.

Finally, the delightful performance. All of us taking photos and videos while the maestro sits at the organ as he plays with amazing virtuosity.

2022 DAILY ACCOUNT – PART 3A: 21 July

After posting my last blogpost, a reader quite rightly drew my attention to the lack of proportion in that post. It’s a post about my boating in the river and the first half of it is all about trains. A few readers complained that the train photos were not ‘naturist photos’. I hope my readers will bear in mind that this is really my personal diary. It’s to document my life as a naturist. I’m not always naked and it would be quite silly if I made it a point to ensure that EVERY photo showed nudity. I quite liked the train photos. But some questions are legitimate – do I have photos of me ACTUALLY rowing the boat?

I looked through my photos again and sure enough I do have photos of me in the boat. But I can’t possibly have a photo of me ROWING the boat. When I pick up my GoPro camera attached to a selfie stick, I have to stop paddling. I can’t paddle a boat and take a selfie at the same time.

Here’s one of the many pics of me in the boat.

This is the WSP or Wasserschutzpolizei i.e. Water Protection Police. Their duty is to patrol the rivers, waterways and lakes and they are a part of the State Police. The rules are if you have life jackets in the boat you are required to put them on. We don’t carry life jackets on the boat. So, we are on the right side of the law. The river is extremely shallow anyway.

2022 DAILY ACCOUNT – PART 3: 21 July

Row, row, row your boat. Today is the day we go for a splash. We have to take a train to the upper part of the River Elbe so we can row our boats down the river. But before getting into the water, let’s look at the trains. I have always been fascinated by trains – ever since I was a little boy. I have hundreds of selfies taken with trains all over the world. This was taken just before we boarded the train:

I have two photos taken the day before of me driving a train:

And if that pic isn’t clear enough, here’s a side pic that shows quite clearly that I’m in the driver’s seat.

We row a good 17km into the sunset but to be honest, the flow of the river helped quite a lot. Here’s a pic of me all poised for the hard task of rowing down the river.

We stop along the way to swim and to take selfies of course.

It took me a long time to get the entire vessel in my selfie. I tried many poses and different angles and in the end, I had to get out of the water just to capture the whole boat behind me.

But the pics others take of me are always better than my selfies. Here’s a pic taken by a friend. The entire boat can be seen without any difficulty.

I’m glad that everyone is armed today with a mobile phone/camera. I always welcome pics taken by others. They give a different perspective. Here’s a lovely pic that shows the bigger picture.

As you can see, all the pics taken by others are so much better than the pics I take myself.

This photo diary won’t be complete if I leave out the ice-cream break:

We soon arrive at the house of the oldest and most revered naturist in the whole of Saxony for a group photo.

2022 DAILY ACCOUNT – PART 2: 20 July

To get to our starting point of the hike, we first took a train. I will show photos of the train later on this post.

There are rivers and bridges to cross.

Different rock formations:

There are even caves:

We soon have to split into two groups. The tougher trail goes through narrow rocks on the face of a mountain cliff. There is a chain you can hold on to and of course you need both hands to ensure you’re safe. But it’s no fun climbing over a difficult trail and you have no photos to remember it by. Besides, I’m as sure-footed as a mountain goat.

That’s the end of our hiking and it’s time to board the train.

2022 DAILY ACCOUNT – PART 1A: 19 July (continued)

For the sake of completeness, I decided to write this short post as an addendum to the last post. This is because following yesterday’s post, I received a few queries from my readers and I thought it would be good if I gave the full picture. I was asked if we walked in the nude on public roads as well. Do I have photos of them? Whether I have a photo of something is a question one need not ask a selfie addict. Of course I have photos of Everything. Countless photos. Hahaha

The following photos were all taken on 19 July 2022.

Here is a passing car on a public road:

A bus-stop:

A passing bus:

And a long tram with tourists in it:

I hope this gives a better picture of our hike. The total distance exceeded 14km in a single day.

My next post will focus on the following day – 20 July 2022.

ERRATUM

I just realised that I made a mistake above. All the photos above were in fact taken on 20 July 2022 and not 19 July 2022. This may not be an important point to my readers but since this is my personal diary, I have to be sure that such mistakes are not made. In most of my holiday photos, I can tell that it’s a different day by the change of my clothes. But obviously I can’t do that here. Haha.

Here is a pic of me with a passing car that was really taken on 19 July 2022:

2022 DAILY ACCOUNT – PART 1: 19 July

Now that we are approaching the end of 2022, I thought I should write daily accounts of some of the days in 2022 which are interesting to me in my life as a naturist. As far as possible, I will avoid posting pics of other people unless I am fairly certain they are OK with it or they have appeared in other public sites.

19 July is the first day of my nude hiking in Saxony, Germany. On this day, the plan is to see some old abandoned railway line and to visit an old dilapidated castle.

It is a hot day.

The trail is long. and there’s a lot of walking. This pic gives a perspective of how far one has to walk.

Sometimes it gets very hot.

The road is flanked on both sides by fields.

A word of advice to the uninitiated. It’s wise to apply sun cream all over your body including parts of the body that one does not normally apply it or you may end your holiday with sun-burn all over your body.

Sometimes, there is shade.

There may be the occasional car on the trail. Just step aside and take a selfie! Haha

There are refreshing stops at streams and rivers.

We sometimes pass through fields where workers are gathering the harvest.

There are quaint little bridges too that one has to cross.

Sometimes, there are cows along the way and they afford a great selfie backdrop.

We finally arrive at our destination – the disused railway track.

And the castle remains.

The record on my Garmin GPS watch shows that I cover a total of 14.36km.

Pop the champagne! I’m on Feedspot’s list

I have been keeping several blogs on my life as a naturist on various websites partly as a form of diary keeping (an activity which I have been hooked on since the age of 7) and partly to promote naturism and to affirm the decency of the nude human body. Unbeknownst to me, my blog which isn’t in any way outstanding – it’s more like a personal diary which I imagined would bore anyone to tears – was selected in the Top 35 Naturist Blogs by Feedspot. See No.20 for my blog.

Now that should spur me on to kick off my sluggishness and update my blog more regularly. Now is the right time to blog more seeing that I have just completed all my travels for this year and I must have some story to tell.

In the meanwhile, here’s champagne to celebrate my getting on Feedspot’s list!
